Mega Millions Jackpot Rises to $130 Million

Second-Tier $250,000 Ticket Sold in Eldersburg

Another Maryland Lottery player is a lot happier after Friday night’s Mega Millions drawing. That’s because there was a $250,000 second-tier winning ticket sold in Maryland. The winning numbers were 05, 13, 26, 35, 45 and Mega Ball 32. The winner matched all five numbers, except the Mega Ball. The winning ticket was sold at Eldersburg Exxon on the Run, located at 1305 Liberty Rd. in Eldersburg. The winner has182 days to claim the prize.

There was no jackpot winner, making tomorrow night’s drawing worth $130 million. If the jackpot is hit in Maryland, it will be the Lottery’s second largest win ever. There were also four third-tier $10,000 winners in the State. The most recent Mega Millions winner brings the total to 11 second-tier $250,000 winners and 59 third-tier $10,000 winners in Maryland since the beginning of the year. Four second-tier tickets remain unclaimed.

The multi-state Mega Millions game is played in 12 states, including Maryland, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Virginia, Washington, Texas and California. Mega Millions drawings can be seen on Tuesday and Friday evenings at 11:22 p.m. on WBAL-TV, Channel 11 and at 11:30 p.m. on Maryland Public Television.
