Well, what can I say. I am one of those people that never win anything, but thought I would give Ravens Cash Fantasy a try. I can tell you that they do give out the tickets. I won tickets for the Ravens vs. Bills game.
This was my first time to see the Ravens play in Baltimore. The seats were very good at around the 20-yard line on the visiting teams side of the field. A parking pass was included and the access in and out of the stadium was easy to navigate.
I must admit that the atmosphere was very good as about 99% of the people were in their purple and black and were into the game. It was refreshing to see such support of the home town team.
I myself am a native of Washington, DC and have been a fan of the “other team” down I-95. That’s the way it is and will always be that way. But I will root for the Ravens as my AFC favorites.
Overall the weather was good that day and the fans were fantastic. It was very enjoyable. Thank you Maryland Lottery.

Wins $30,000 Top Prize on Cash Lines Scratch-Off
Saturday’s birthday get together was especially special for one Talbot County man. The brand-new 23-year-old was out celebrating with friends at his favorite Lottery retailer when he made his lucky purchase. “We were playing Keno and then one of my friends bought a Cash Lines ticket,” said the winner. “I decided to buy four of the same ticket.” He played two of the four scratch-offs at the store to no avail. He then made his way home where he and his wife of almost ten months would get the thrill of a lifetime. With his spouse by his side, he scratched the third ticket to reveal the $30,000 Cash Lines top prize. “We couldn’t believe it,” the lucky winner said.
The couple will split the $30,000 Cash Lines prize money. The birthday boy intends to pay off his car and scratch more tickets. Still in disbelief, his wife doesn’t know yet what she wants to do with her share. Both are keeping quiet about their win. So far, only family members are aware of their newfound fortune. The winning ticket was purchased at Easton Super Soda, located at 326 East Dover St. in Easton.
$2,000 in cash giveaways highlight party
One might suspect that the excitement among the patrons of the Brass Rail Pub on Sunday afternoon was due to the thumping the hometown Ravens had just delivered to the Carolina Panthers. The victory certainly played a part in the festive mood, but there was much more going on to bring the good cheer. The Maryland Lottery was on hand awarding instant cash prizes as well as a pair of tickets to the upcoming Ravens game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Lottery communications staff visited the Brass Rail to spread the word about the popular Ravens Cash Fantasy scratch-off ticket. The instant ticket features a $1 million instant top prize plus an Internet promotion with the chance to win football-themed prizes like season tickets for life.
During the two-hour party, four attendees were awarded $500 cash prizes: Darlene Coursey of Pasadena, April Sobiech of Pikesville, Kenneth Crosson of Washington, D.C. and Linda Zaukus of Randallstown. Pasadena’s Ashley Yingling won the coveted pair of tickets to next month’s Steelers game.
The next Ravens Cash Fantasy party will be held at Corinthian Lounge and Restaurant on Monday, December 13th from 6 to 8 p.m. The Maryland Lottery will give away $2,000 in cash prizes – $500 every half-hour – and a pair of Ravens tickets for a home game at M&T Bank Stadium.
The $5 Ravens Cash Fantasy ticket is the second of its kind for the Maryland Lottery. The original, launched last year, holds the distinction of being the best-selling $5 scratch-off ever sold by the agency. This year’s ticket offers more than $11 million in instant prizes – including a still-available $1 million top prize. Like last year’s scratch-off, each ticket features a perforated portion with a special “EXTRA YARDS” code that players can enter on mdlottery.com/ravens. Players who enter their “EXTRA YARDS” codes on the Maryland Lottery’s website will have the opportunity to win premium prizes that include season tickets for life, 2011 season tickets, Ravens draft day party and trip to NYC, autographed footballs and numerous other prizes.
I started preseason football off with with two Ravens Cash Fantasy Scratch-off tickets. Both were small winners including 20 yards a piece. I bought two more during the week and my fiance’s mother bought two tickets at the state fair. She also had a winner and decent yards. She gave me her yards, but kept the money.
I had just enought for one entry for the 2010 season tickets. I figure go big or go home so I entered. A few days later, I got a call in the middle of the day from the Maryland Lottery office. I thought it was a survey because the agent asked me a few questions before telling me I was a winner. When she told me I just about fell on the floor in shock. I think I smiled the whole week. I was elated. I told everyone.
I finally went to my first game and I was shocked all over again. It was only the second Ravens game I had ever been too. The game was awesome. The weather was perfect. The fans were hyped, and the Ravens won! I have been to a few games since and am still in shock.
I love the Ravens and the Maryland Lottery. I am still playing the Ravens Cash Fantasy scratch-off. Season tickets for life and the million dollars is still out there.
