Wins $100,000 on Lucky Times 10 Scratch-Off

Lucky Times 10A Baltimore woman commemorated the Easter holiday with a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye yesterday – she was quietly celebrating her $100,000 Lucky Times 10 scratch-off win.

The woman, who declined to be named, has played Lottery games for years and has never won a prize this large before.  She regularly buys scratch-offs and has always dreamed of winning big.  “I’ve always wanted to be one of those people with the big check in their hands,” she said.  She asked for a check to take home for a tangible reminder of this exciting day.

The federal government employee was on her way to work for an overtime shift this past Saturday when she stopped at a local convenience store to buy a couple of scratch-offs.  She saw the winning number and assumed that she won a lower-tier prize.  “I thought I would win $10 or $20 dollars, I almost fainted when I saw $100,000!”  She said that she experienced so much nervous excitement that she felt lightheaded and shaky and had to turn around and go home instead of going to work.

The lucky winner, who came to Lottery headquarters with her brother, said that she is going to pay bills and let the excitement sink in before deciding what to do with the rest of the money.  “I couldn’t believe it,” she said, “I almost still can’t believe it!”

The winning ticket was purchased at Milford Liquors, located at 8100 Liberty Road in Baltimore.
