Mega Millions, Powerball and Multi-Match Offer Huge Payouts
Marylanders are warming up to the chance of becoming the state’s next multi-millionaire. Not only are Mega Millions and Powerball jackpots both over $100 million, but the Multi-Match jackpot is at a near record-breaking $4.15 million.
The first of the big chances to win takes place tonight with the Mega Millions drawing. The jackpot stands at $112 million, fueling lots of dreams among Marylanders.
The $114 million Powerball jackpot also has many players envisioning the big bucks. The newest of Maryland’s large jackpot games, the next Powerball drawing will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, March 3rd.
The chance at millionaire status continues on Thursday with the Multi-Match drawing and a jackpot of $4.15 million. The largest Multi-Match jackpot ever was $4.8 million, claimed by two Dundalk men in September 2009. Although Multi-Match sometimes does not garner the attention of the Lottery’s other large jackpot games, Mega Millions and Powerball, it offers better odds of winning the big money.
All game drawings are aired on WBAL-TV Channel 11 at 11:22 PM. Drawing days are: Mega Millions on Tuesdays and Fridays, Powerball on Wednesdays and Saturdays and Multi-Match on Mondays and Thursdays.
